Setup htaccess properly and employ robots.txt file

Choose which way you would like your Hyperlink to be and stick to it. If you choose to use www then always employ it like this inside your links, avoid using both. It's your job to generate a 301 for those www demands to redirect to non-www URL addresses. If you do not set up that then each and every page in your site can be displayed to google as getting a minimum of one duplicate.

Produce a robots.txt file and I love to incorporate a favicon because without one the robots will trigger file not found errors in your server. Make sure to configure the robots.txt properly.
